Mario
Asnago & Claudio Vender - Italy
From
1925 to 1971 Mario Asnago (1896 - 1981) and Claudio Vender (1904
-
1986) head their joint architectural office Asnago & Vender.
In the northern part of Europe, the works of Asnago & Vender
are
not very well known. During their career the two architects
created a
rich oevre.
More than 50 buildings are located in the city of Milan.
The buildings by Asnago & Vender are inconspicous. They are
marked
by subtle and refined design. Repeating elements in the work of
Asnago & Vender is use of stone and slightly shifts in
facade organisation.
