Pierre Zoelly - Switzerland On 30 December 2003, the architect and theorist Pierre Zoelly has died at the age of 80 at his home at the lake in Uerikon. He had realized, both in North America and in Europe, several remarkable buildings. In addition, he has also published nearly a dozen richly illustrated studies, each precisely formulating architectural themes. His family was as much connected with the French-speaking Switzerland as well as with the Zurich region. Initially he had visisted the school in Geneva, later in Zurich. After completing his studies at ETH, he decided to leave for the United States, where he graduated for a second time in Pittsburgh. Then he worked for around a decade as an architect and a lecturer in Columbus, Ohio. 1964 Residential Building and Studio - Lenzburg | |||||
