Luca Deon - Switzerland
Luca Deon (born 1966) is a Swiss architect who graduated from the ETH Zurich under Inès Lamunière in 1993. After his graduation, he worked in the architectural office Marques Zurkirchen.
Before he founded his own office in Lucerne in 1999, he worked as an assistant at the ETH Lausanne.
During Expo.02 Luca Deon was responsible for the architectural concept of Arteplage Yverdon-les-Bains. Since 2005 Luca Deon is a full professor at the University of Lucerne.
According to Luca Deon, in each building project lies hidden a strategy that he tries to uncover and which serves him within the design process as a central theme.
