The Italian architect Mario Passanti was born in Rosario di Santa Fé (Argentina) in 1901. He not only worked as an architect, but also as a researcher, artist and teacher in History of Architecture and Elements of Architecture at the University of Architecture in Turin. Mario Passanti was responsible for the design of several civil inhabitance buildings in Turin and the Piedmont pavilion for Italia '61. In 1968 Mario Passanti was committed to study the intervention criteria in Turin historical downtown. Mario Passanti not only produced architectonic works in Turin, but also worked in Sestrieres, Chivasso, Asti and Varigotti. In 1972, Mario Passanti died in Turin.
