Carlo Aymonino - Italy As one of the most influential italien architects and urban planers of the twentieht century Carlo Aymonino (18.07.1926 - 03.07.2010) was best known for his Monte Amiata housing complex in the Gallaratese quarter in Milan. For this big residential Complex he asked his friend and contemporary Aldo Rossy to design one of the buildings. Carlo Aymonino studied at the University of Rome and obtained his degree in 1950. As part of a group of architects (togehter with Ludovico Quaroni and Mario Ridolfi) he took part in the development for the Tiburtino Quarter, which is considered to be the built manifestation of the new realism. 1967 - 1972 Quartiere Gallaratese, Milano | |||||
