The Palais Victor Hugo in Aix-en-Provence is one of the early works by the reknown French architect Fernand Pouillon. It was created in collaboration with the architect Henri Enjouvin. In fact, the Palais Albert I and the Palais Victor Hugo were the first two buildings by Fernand Pouillon, who did not receive his diploma until 1942. Later he was able to complete further buildings in the city of Aix-en-Provence.
The Palais Victor Hugo is located on a wide tree-lined avenue bordering the Mazarin district to the west. Surrounded by buildings in Art Deco style, the façade is decorated with the elegant curved lines in the style of the 1930s. The building contains a total of 28 apartments.
Das Wohnhaus Palais Victor Hugo in Aix-en-Provence gehört zum Frühwerk des französischen Architekten Fernand Pouillon. Es enstand in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Architekten Henri Enjouvin. Zusammen mit dem kurz zuvor fertiggestellten Palais Albert gehört das Gebäude zu den zwei ersten Bauten des Architekten in dieser Stadt. Tatsächlich handelt es sich beim Palais Albert I und beim Palais Victor Hugo um die ersten beiden Gebäude von Fernand Pouillon, der erst 1942 sein Diplom erlangte.
Das Palais Victor Hugo liegt an einer breiten Allee, die von Platanen gesäumt wird und die den Bezirk Mazarin im Westen begrenzt. Umgeben von Gebäuden im Art-Déco-Stil, ist die Fassade mit den eleganten geschwungenen Linien im Stil der 1930er Jahre gehalten Das Gebäude enthält insgesamt 28 Wohnungen.
