Fernand Pouillon - France Immeuble Cannebière Boulevard de la Cannebière, Marseille 1949 - 1953	The Immeuble Cannebière in Marseille was planned and realized in the years 1949 - 1953 according to a design by the French architect Fernand Pouillon. The communist architect Fernand Pouillon worked together with René Egger at that time. Despite the goodwill of Auguste Perret, he was considered to be relatively inexperienced. The building is located on the edge of the Belsunce district, opposite the Hotel Noailles. The Ensemble Cannebière consists of two interconnected buildings. The Immeuble Cannebière offers offices, comercial premises and apartments on an area of 18,000 m2. The prominently curved view became well known. The façades are structured by the horizontal bands of the ceiling brackets and the exceptionally slim vertical elements. Das Immeuble Cannebière in Marseille wurde in den Jahren 1949 - 1953 nach einem Entwurf von Fernand Pouillon geplant und realisiert. Der kommunistische Architekt Fernand Pouillon arbeitete zud diesem Zeitpunkt mit René Egger zusammen. Er galt trotz des Wohlwollens von Auguste Perret als relativ unerfahren. Das Gebäude befindet sich am Rande des Stadtteils Belsunce gegenüber dem Hotel Noailles. Das Ensemble Cannebière besteht aus zwei miteinander verbundenen Gebäuden. Das Immeuble Cannebière bietet Büro, Geschäftsräume und Wohnungen auf einer Fläche von 18'000 m2. Bekant wurde die prominent geschwungene Ansicht. Die Fassaden werden strukturiert durch die horizontalen Bänder der Deckenstirnen und den ausserordentlich schlanken vertikalen elementen.
