Erik Bryggman - Finland Hospits-Betel Yliopistonkatu 29, Turku 1929 |
Hospits Betel, built by Erik Bryggman in 1929, is locaed on a plot neighbouring the so-called Atrium building. It is also designed in the style of the 1920s classicism, but its details are already turning towards functionalism. The five-story Hospits Bethel hotel and commercial buildings were commissioned Turku Missionary Society. Bryggman had won the architectural competition organized by the Mission. Today, the building houses the Hotel Scandic Plaza, including the restaurant's Bryggman. |
