Rakentajantalo Office Building

The Rakentajantalo Office Building by Alvar Aalto is located in the immediate neighbourhood of the former Jyvaskylä Police Station.
The site was originally part of Alvar Aalto's design for the Jyväskyla City Centre, containig several municipal buildings and a theatre.
Several of the buildings were realized, but the town hall with administrative offices, which was intended for this site was never realized.
Instead there was built the Rakentajantalo Office Building.
